Ultimate Frisbee

If you are interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee:

There is pick-up on Wednesdays 6-8pm and Sundays 3-6pm. We play at Arrigo Park on Loomis St. between W. Harrison and Taylor. New players are welcome! We play year round, even through the winter! It is not competitive -- just a good time.

Also, check out Ultimate Chicago.  http://www.ultimatechicago.org/uc/index.php. This is an organized league and the play is more competitive. You can play in the fall, spring, and summer seasons. On this website there is information about other pick-up groups around the city.

I play pick-up and league. It is awesome! If you want more information, send me an e-mail katherine_garlo@rush.edu.

Spring 2008

Happy New Year everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that the CEO schedule for the Spring quarter will be posted and emailed shortly. Enjoy the rest of your break!

City Life

I thought it would be a good idea to have a book that we could all edit about things to do around the city.  Feel free to add chapters to this book for anything you'd like to talk about.  I'll start us off with a restaurants section.

Proud to be 2011?

So I was thinking of printing shirts (or hoodies, or mugs?) to show our Rush pride. I posted some pictures on Facebook, I'll get to that in a minute. Jeff saw these pictures and told me he had been working on a design too, for the very same reason.

I was fooling around with Paint.net, a free and powerful (though not as powerful as Photoshop) image editing/creating software and eventually made what you see here (depicted on a t-shirt). The original image is here. Now my mockup is by no means the final product. I believe someone in our class who is so much more creative can probably come up with a better design than this. In fact that is what I'm hoping for.

If anyone has a design they would like to submit please e-mail me (usama_ahmad@rush.edu)! There is no hurry on the printing, I mean we can put this off until the end of our first year, but I was kind of hoping to get it done by winter break.

I've attached the original files with this post.
