| Rating: 4/5 The film brought back a lot of memories during my teens spent in the San Francisco/Bay Area back in the ealry and late 1980's with the Drag Culture (went in drag during Halloween and Gay Beauty Pageants in San Francisco and had a BLAST!) To its credit, whenever things get too treacly, Priscilla knows enough to break out those frocks and get the show in gear. Based on the smash-hit movie, Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical is the heartwarming, uplifting adventure of three friends, Tick, Bernadette and Adam, played by Christopher Peterson, Dave Bootle and Connor Cook, searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they ever could have ever dreamed of.
