Rush Remedy

Rush Remedy is the Rush University branch of a national organization geared towards collecting discarded medical
supplies and rerouting them to third world countries. We hope to offer a way to
reduce medical waste while helping to bring desperately needed medical supplies
to those who need it most. A team of five student leaders runs Rush Remedy with
the help of our faculty adviser, Dr. Ansell.

Each week, one leader with a few other students go to the
Rush warehouse to sort, collect, and box up supplies. These supplies are either
transported with traveling Rush healthcare professionals on medical missions or
are shipped to MedShare International in Atlanta
where they are shipped internationally.
