Hi All,
I bought the 13th ed. of Grant's Dissector, so I made a spreadsheet of the corresponding page numbers from the 14th ed. assignments (attached). Hope it can be of use to you guys! Also, I may have made stupid mistakes in typing it all up, so feel free to let me know if I did!

Here's the Histo list of key terms to know from the course site on WebCT in a more printer-friendly format. If anything's missing, please let me know! :)
If you are interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee:
There is pick-up on Wednesdays 6-8pm and Sundays 3-6pm. We play at Arrigo Park on Loomis St. between W. Harrison and Taylor. New players are welcome! We play year round, even through the winter! It is not competitive -- just a good time.
Also, check out Ultimate Chicago. http://www.ultimatechicago.org/uc/index.php. This is an organized league and the play is more competitive. You can play in the fall, spring, and summer seasons. On this website there is information about other pick-up groups around the city.
I play pick-up and league. It is awesome! If you want more information, send me an e-mail katherine_garlo@rush.edu.
Usama and I have collaborated to create an online version of the M2 class schedule. If you'd like to add it to your computer's calendar, click here. If you'd like to add it to a web-based calendar, like Google Calendar, copy the following link (don't download the .ics file) [ http://www.rmstudents.com/files/m2fall2008.ics ] and use the instructions here to add it to your calendar . Let us know if you see any mistakes or if you can't figure something out.
Usama has put together the first 3 weeks of the M1 class schedule here [ http://www.rmstudents.com/files/co2012fall08.ics ]. We're not able to do the whole calendar (because it takes a while to make), but we'd be happy to host the file for you if you guys create it. We just use Google Calendar to create it and export the .ics file. Contact either of us if you need help figuring out how to make it or if you'd like RMstudents to put it up on the web for your class.
Where: Rm 540
Come for free lunch and a full hour of helpful information.
We will have 2 doctors speaking for the first 25-30 minutes:
Dr. Swaminathan - Current president of the Illinois State Medical Society
Dr. McDade - Current president of the Chicago Medical Society
After that, there will be a question and answer session with a panel of current M2's. We will also be able to sign up those interested in joining AMA/ISMS/CMS and will have gifts for those that already signed up over the summer.
Hope to see you all there!
The M2s had a lecture on inflammation today and it reminded me of a video I saw that was developed at Harvard depicting the cellular processes involved. It was set to a very inspiring music track at the Studio Daily and the original, narrated version can be seen on the Harvard website. The video is highly recommended if you're a science geek like I aspire to be.
Hey Everyone!
