Choose how you want your Calendar to work:
As always before you add your calendar to your calendar client (Gmail, Outlook, iCal, etc.) you need to decide if you want the calendar to be a feed or stored locally (on your computer or your Gmail account).
The difference is a feed will always read the calendar from RMStudents.com, whereas a locally stored calendar will copy the calendar into your account and never check RMStudents for updates again.

Notice in the diagram above how the feed calendar periodically (every hour, every 24 hours, it depends on your client) requests RMStudents for an "update," and if it finds that there is a change in the RMStudents calendar then it also updates itself to match the change. The local copy does not do that.
The advantage of a local copy, however, is that you can make changes yourself if you need to whereas the feed is a read-only copy. Still you can always add a different calendar in your client so that your school calendar and your personal calendar or workout calendar are different.
