Creating Pages vs Stories: It's not just semantics

I wanted to mention the difference between creating a Page and a Story. For the most part, Pages are meant to be more static information [about your group] (for example what your group is about or background on a project you guys do every year). Stories should usually be about more dynamic material (for example, the dates of a project you're working on for this year, or news for your group, or something your classmates might find useful). It seems like when people are posting stuff they use all 'Pages' or sometimes "Blog Entries", so I wanted to make sure you understand the difference. There's some benefits to making Stories vs Pages and vice-versa. All 'Pages' for your group will eventually be put into the Sidebar of anyone viewing your group, so they will always be accessible to your members. Stories will automatically be promoted to the front page of RMstudents.com, which will help promote your group's activities and remind members about events. Stories are also useful to students wishing to share a study guide (or something) they've made with their classmates. This way it shows up on the frontpage where everyone can see it. Eventually, people who are familiar with your group will probably be more interested in the "Stories" while people interested in learning about your group may be more interested in the "Pages". Blog Entries are very similar to stories, but they do not show up on the front page by default. These are more useful to people wishing to write about topics that are important to them, which other students may or may not be interested in. I just thought you might like to know for the future. Please post questions or comments in the comments.
